Weekly Roundup

Week 3 is complete and I can’t wait to see what week 4 has in store! This week I read some short stories, got much more creative in my writing abilities, and became much more active with my peers in this class. My main discovery this week was using gifs in posts. I’m obsessed.

I’m really proud of how far I’ve come already when it comes to opening up. I have let go of caring what people think of my writing, and have just written things I find interesting and hope other people find them interesting too. This has made me try new things and unleash a new creative side myself.

I also am falling back in love with reading through reading all of the short stories and starting the book I chose, The War of the Worlds. I didn’t ever make time for reading since starting in college and I didn’t realize how much I missed it! I can’t wait to see what else I read.

I’ve also been much more active on Twitter, liking my peers’ tweets and reading the posts they share, as well as replying to them and sparking conversations. I’m still a little quiet, but I’m getting there- and improvement is key!

Question of the week:

In the event of an apocalypse, do you think you’d be the kind of person to hoard your supplies (for yourself and your loved ones) or would you share them with those around you in need? Why or why not?

I’m an only child, meaning I can be a little on the spoiled side. That being said, I think I would hoard them for me and my loved ones in the event of an apocalypse. It takes a lot to get me to trust someone, especially if an apocalypse is going on and trusting someone could be the difference between life and death. I would definitely prefer to trust who is closest to me already and make sure I stay safe that way.

Have a great week, friends!

XO,

Taylor
